Alha of the
Banaphar Rajput clan was the famous general of the great Chandel king
Paramdidev, or Parmal, who fought Prithviraj Chauhan in 1182 CE. Alha's mother,
Devaki, was a member of the Ahir caste. In the Puranas, when Mahpati (Mahil)
states that Ahlada (Alsha) has come to be of "low family" (kule
hinatvamagatah), it is because his mother is an Arya Abhiri (aryabhiri: ans
"Aryan" Ahir)(13.88-91).Alha Udal bade ladaiya jinse haar gayi talwar
(meaning "Alha and Udal were such great fighters that even swords were
defeated by them"), the folklore of great military experts Alha and Udal,
is still sung in the heartland of Bundelkhand. According to legends and
folklores, Alha was undefeatable, as he was made immortal by the goddess
Sharda. The shrine of the goddess is at Maihar in Madhya Pradesh (India).
Folklore portrays Alha as having gifted his head to Sharda after cutting it off
with a sword and the goddess, extremely pleased by the act, then makes him
immortal. Alha also had two maternal brothers, Malkhan and Sulkhan, and
folklore presents Malkhan as a man with enormous strength, represented in the
sentence, "das das haathi bhuj par taule" (meaning "ten
elephants were weighed by him on one hand"); the sentence is a form of
poetic interpretation delivered through folklore.

Mahil spread rumours that Alha mother is an Ahir and so Alha is a low class Rajput which is bullshit .Mahoba was taken away from Mahil Parihar's father by Chandel and Banafar Rajputs so Mahil Parihar hated us .Because of Mahil ,Prithviraj Chauhan attacked mahoba and this resulted in conflict between Mahoba and Delhi .Mahil Parihar was the reason of breaking unity of Rajputs and you are taking his reference and calling Alha's mother an Ahir? Mahil was traitor of Rajput community. He called Banafars as low class Rajputs so banafars Rajput brothers Alha and udal leave Mohaba and Mahoba become weak .Alha' mother was Mahil's maternal Sister whose name was Matchla .If Mahil was a parihar Rajput,how can his maternal Sister belong to Ahir community? In Wikipedia, Ahirs have edited that Alha's mother's name was devaki which is wrong. Brother,you saw some Ahirs claiming that Alha's mother was an Ahir and you believed them? I have seen gujjars claiming Prithviraj Chauhan was a gujjar ,will you belive such things about Prithviraj ji which is claimed by some gujjars ? Brother, Alha was a pure Rajput and even Alha's mother was a Rajput (maternal sister of Mahil Parihar) .However, it is said that Udal was abandoned by his mother when Brahmins claimed that Udal will be the reason for the death of his father and was raised by an Ahir woman but this has nothing to do with his mother's caste .
ReplyDeleteYes you are 100% spot on. Udal was raised by an Ahir women. Ahir women were always acted as Nurses to Rajput kids. Same case was in princes Bundela clan of Rajput.but this doesnot mean they were direct mother. And Alha was part of Banaphar Rajput. Banaphar Rajput clan did not started from Alha. Dakshraj/Bacchraj father of Alha Udal were Banaphar Rajputs. You are right that internal rivalry of Rajput was the reason we hear such stupid things. How can mama say that bhanja is from other mother?? This drama is only because Udal was raised by Ahir mother.

U need to know more about Allah Udal actually the thing is that they belonged to Chandravansi Banafar Ahir Kshatriya and they both were commander of king parmal who was also a Chandravansi Yadav Kshatriya but king got married a Rajput girl whose name was malhanaI and her brother name was Mahil.Mahil belonged to Rajput community that's why he hated all the members of Ahir community.So please,stop spreading rumors about Allah Udal was Rajput.
DeleteIdiot Raja Parmal Dec was a Chandel ruler. There is no Banafar clan in Ahir till today, All Banafar are Rajput today. Ahir are low caste shudra. You talking marrying a daughter of ruler, Those days Ahirs had no aukaat. Go bark somewhere else. Chandel, Banafar are Rajput clan.
