How to prepare for Interview ?

Tips for job interview
(Before,during,and after)
Being interviewed is a critical aspect of hiring process.you have already made it past the resume overview and now it is time for you to have what might be the only face to face interaction with your potential employer before they decide to hire you or not.It is essential that you put your best foot forward and allow the interviewer to get to know the person they'd be working with.They learned about your accomplishments from your resume,now show them your personality and how you handle yourself in a professional environment.
Things to do before an interview:
1.Do your research.know the company that you are interviewing with so you can answer their questions well in the right context.It will also show that you are truly interested in the company.
2.Know who will be interviewing you,and learn a bit about their background.
3.prepare questions beforehand.Know the answers to basic questions that they will most likely ask you.Also come up with a few questions about the company or position you are applying for to show that you are interested.
4.prepare for interview by knowing the skills required.
5.Make a few copies of your resume/CV and never lie in resume.
6.Prepare a solid list of references that you can give your interviewer on the spot and arrange them in nice briefcase or portfolio.This makes you look organised and professional.
7.Pre-write your thank you notes so you can drop them off right afterwards.
8.Get a good night sleep the night before.You will look better and feel better,allowing yourself to make the best first impression.
9.Make sure your clothes are clean and wrinkle -free. Avoid dark and bright colours.
10.Take a good bath.
11.Be clean and neat,including your nails,teeth,shoes,hair and face.
12.put on deodorant to avoid body odor.Don't use strong perfume.
13.Don't smoke beforehand so that you smell like smoke.Use mouthwash or have a breath mint before the interview.
14.If you are female wear minimum jewelry and style
Your hair properly.
15.Eat a good breakfast.You will be more alert and focused.
16.Carry a tissue or handkerchief in your pocket to dry your hands in case you are nervous before you go in.
17.Arrive early,but do not enter the building until 10 minutes before your appointment.
18.Review your preparation stories and answers.
19.Don't bring uninvited guests,like family,friends and significant others.
20.Turn off your cell phone.
21.Treat other people you encounter with courtesy and respect.Their opinions of you might be solicited during hiring decisions.
22.Go with a positive frame of mind,without worrying much about the outcome.

4.Most probably you will be offered a seat.Do not sit down unless you are asked to and say thank you.
5.sit up straight,and lean slightly forward in your chair as this shows your interest for the interview.
6.Sit with good posture with hands folded in your lap as this indicates good manner.
7.Maintain good eye contact during the interview.
8.Avoid staring as you might make the interviewer uncomfortable.
9.Speak with confidence and don't lie.
10.Ensure that you let the interviewer finish the question before you jump to answer it.
11.Take a second before answering a question to show you are putting some thought into your answer.Answer with required facts and figures Without being too verbose.
12.Be loud enough and clear.
13.Ask clarification if you don't understand a question.
14.Start with conversation topics that you are comfortable with.Do avoid controversial topics.
15.Take notes,if it is okay.
16.Let your achievements speak for you.
17.Ask questions,including asking for full descriptions of the type of work that you will be doing.
18.Watch your body language.(posture,gestures,facial expressions,and eye movements).
19.Have a sense of humor.Laugh at the interviewer's jokes.
20.When the interviewer concludes the interview,offer a firm handshake and make eye contact.Depart gracefully.
21.Ask for his/her business card for after interview letter.
22.Ask about the next step in the selection process and when they will be.
Items not to do during an interview:
1.Don't talk too quickly.
2.Don't digress from your points.
3.Don't answer questions with a simple "yes" or "no".Explain whenever possible.
4.Don't use slang.Ex:say "yes",not"yeah".
5.Don't use words you don't know the meaning of.
6.Don't be arrogant.
7.Don't talk about your personal life and family problems.
8.Don't give the employer any reason to think you will not perform well.
9.Don't act nervous.you probably will be,but it is best if you take a few seconds and clear your mind.Your answers will be less jumbled.
10.Don't fidget.This might be something you have to practice but it is worth it.
11.Don't chew gum during the interview.
12.Don't tell jokes during the interview.
13.Don't smoke,even if the interviewer does and offers you cigarette.
14.Don't inquire about salary,vacations,bonuses,retirement,or other benefits until after you have received an offer.Be prepared for a question about your salary requirements.
15.Finally say thank to the interviewer and offer a firm handshake and say nice meeting with you.
What to do after the interview:
1.Drop off your thank you note.Always thank your interviewer after you have left.Email them after you drop off your note.The more contact you have,the more you remain in their minds over the other applications.It shows you are thoughtful,motivated, and that you care.
2.Create a list of items that you did well and that you would like to improve on.
3.Follow up appropriately.Sometimes the interviewer will tell you when they will notify you;other times it will be your responsibility to make the follow up.

1.Did you face any difficulty in finding this place?
No sir,it wasn't difficult to find this place.I checked the directions on the Internet.
2.How did you hear about the position?
Through job portals.
3.Do you know anyone who works with this company?
It is fine if you don't know anyone,but if you know it will be good to give out the name.
4.what are your strengths and weaknesses?
Strengths:
ADAOTABILITY.
Hard working.
Honest.
Optimistic.
Self motive.
Flexible.
Persistence.
Fast decision making.
I am a honest,self motivated and hard working person with positive attitude towards my career and my life.

Confidence-I can do,over confidence- no one can do things as perfect as I can.

In simple words,hard work is quantity work and smart work is qualty work so it is better to work smart.
16.Are you looking for full time or part time work?
Full time work.
17.can you work under pressure?
Definitely I love to work under pressure,because in a pressure I know much more about my skills and my talent.

My short term goal is to work in a reputed organization like  yours where I can enhance my technical skills and knowledge.
And my long term goal is that I want to be the best person in which field I am working.

I get motivated myself through my positive thoughts and sometimes I get motivated by people's success stories.

Creativity is to create innovative idea and to modify old things to new one.I can't remember any particular example right now but my creativity lies in every work what I do daily.
